Al seems to really enjoy REM. On an AlTV he talked over the video of Losing My Religion which was also in Polka Your Eyes Out. On another AlTV he “interviewed” Michael Stipe. Then he took a line from the interview and created the concert only song, “We All Have Cell Phones”. He’s even done a REM style parody with “Frank’s 2000″ TV”. So it’s not a surprise he took their hit Stand and turned into a song about food.

Luckily there are a lot of things to say about Spam, that delicious pig treat in a can. And heck, who doesn’t like trending over old Monty Python bits.
